Eric Bergren is a Principal at Todd Strategy Group, where he advises clients on congressional strategy, health policy, and legislative engagement. 

Prior to joining TSG in 2023, Eric spent 27 years in the U.S. House of Representatives. Most recently, he served as Chief of Staff to Representative Brett Guthrie of Kentucky, where he led legislative strategy, operations, and stakeholder engagement and supported work across the House Energy and Commerce Committee’s Health Subcommittee, Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee, and Energy, Climate, and Grid Security Subcommittee. 

Earlier in his congressional career, Eric served as Legislative Director and Chief of Staff to Representative Ron Lewis of Kentucky, where he managed the Member’s work on the House Ways and Means Committee. He was also selected by House leadership to help train new Chiefs of Staff and served as a team captain in the Chiefs Program. 

Eric received his B.A. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
