Prior to joining TSG in 2025, Nick was Vice President and Head of Government Affairs and Market Access at Illumina, the world leader in genomics and next-gen diagnostic testing. In this capacity he managed an international team with responsibility for North and South America and oversaw their D.C. office.

Before working at Illumina, Nick spent nearly a decade in the biopharmaceutical sector, working in senior roles at the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO), PhRMA and Iovance Biotherapeutics as Head of External Affairs. Nick began his career on Capitol Hill, serving in both the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives in a variety of health care and leadership roles.

Nick is a native of Alexandria, VA. He now resides there with his wife, three children and dog. He holds a B.A. in Economics and History from Vanderbilt University, an M.S. in Health Policy from George Mason University, and a J.D. from the Catholic University of America.
